Snazzy Snails

Snazzy Snails

In the Snazzy Snails class, we work together to care for each other and our classroom. Two important things we teach is that, "Snails can do hard things" and "Snails do things together" because "together" is always more fun. In our class we learn by doing! We learn about the world around us through hands on investigations and explorations based on children's interests. In the Snail's class we grow to love and respect nature through spending time observing and caring for our school gardens. The more we do the more we learn!!

Teacher: Julia Walls

Hi, I'm Ms. Walls. I began my teaching career with preschool children in 1999. I have been a licensed North Carolina teacher since 2010. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with my Birth thru Kindergarten degree from Catawba College in the same year and started serving preschool children in the NCPK program. I joined Cabarrus County School's Preschool Program in 2012 and moved to the Wall Center in 2016, becoming the Snazzy Snail teacher. My family and I like spending our free time together relaxing at home watching movies or enjoying nature by visiting parks, reserves, waterfalls, or nature trails. I believe the best start for each child to grow and learn is through an authentic relationship and connection with their teacher and caregiver.
